Purge valve problem ticking noise?
I am a new member and am not totally familiar with websites,and i do realise that this question may have been asked but iam not sure whether there is asolution to the problem could someone kindly take me thru the steps if there is afix i am positive the noise is coming from the valve as i have tried disconnecting the power to it and the ticking totally stops the ticking actually comes thru the f/pax side i have also had this part replaced so it is new,i have insulated the pipe work from the body of the car put extra rubber under the valve MY SERVICE CENTRE ARE NOT HELPFUL AT ALL i have noticed the purging seems to take place every 60 seconds and lasts for approx30 seconds you can obviously only hear it at traffic lights etc but it is driving me mad such a shame when i think these mercsW203 c240 are agreat car to drive your help would be greatly appreciated thanks from w.australia
