Sports Suspension option on CL203's

Sports Suspension option on CL203's
When opting for the "sports suspesnion" package on the coupes, does anyone know if they fit lowered springs (i am tipping they do) and thus if so, more importantly, which brand - eg - on my last car, a VW Passat, when you opted for the "sports suspension" they actually fit Eibach branded springs, so I'd like to know what MB fit if they are a third party spring maker's brand so I can purchase the factory approved spring to lower my vehicle.

Maybe, but I doubt it.
Maybe it uses C32 springs - they would be a bit shorter than the standard springs.
In Oz, checked the Merc website and the sports suspension is offered with the AMG 17's so I reckon it may in fact lower it a tad to prevent that 4wd look:
AMG 17" Alloy wheels with wide tyres, includes sports suspension $3,290

Coupes in the US definitely do not have C32 springs. The springs are very soft. MB claims the front sway bar is bigger, but measurements by members of this board show that is not true. So that leaves the shocks as the only change. MB does vary the specs of their cars from country to country, so yours could be different than ours.
