Cracked breather hose M111
the breather hose between the oil seperator and valve cover has cracked and the little hose coming off of that pcs does hold (had to tape it for now). Ordered new hose. The cracked one comes off easy but the new one seems it would be harder to install, does the seperator have to be removed to install? Also, would this contribute to sporatic P0410 codes? 2002 coupe

The new hose will be stiff and hard to move, but it is sturdy. Feel free to force it.
I find it easier to put in the small hose by holding it with needle nose pliers and simultaneously installing the breather hose and the hose to the S/C plenum
