So I managed to strip the 27 mm plastic bolt on top of my 05 c230 K SS 's oil filter cap. Has anyone done that and if so, what are my options?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Are you able to take it out? I stripped my Drain Plug once (different car) so I used a wrench instead of a socket to take it out then got a new drain plug. I'm sur eyou can get a new bolt from the dealer.

I stripped it as I was putting it back in . I will take it off when I change the oil again.
Te "bolt is actually built into the top part of teh oil filter housing cap. I would need to get the whole cap.

I think your only option is to replace the plastic cap. This is probably a dealer special-order part. It shouldn't be terribly expensive. Whatever the price, it is cheaper than replacing your engine.
I would recommend replacing this sooner rather than later. Do not risk an oil leak, or having the entire plastic cap blow off while driving down the road.

True! We have all cross threaded a bolt in our time. It happens. Insure you get any loose bits of plastic cleaned out.
