looking at the front end of the c32 has the regular grill and c55 has a diff grill and the point were the bumper and hood meet is much higher than a regular c-class. and on the rear i think everyone knows that a c55 has dual exhaust and on the c32 i havent really looked at the rear. (just my opinion: dealer says its amg bumper to make it sound cool. but try looking at the hood i was talking about. small diff but it matters.)
other thing that is non-amg is the driver! lol! i wish i was!
EDIT: correct me if im wrong i did alittle research now and the non-amg bodys 05-07 are similar to the C32 but the C55 stands out in many diff angles. also i think theres really a diff on the rear i just cant really tell what. as you can see i drive an 03 so i feel gay just thinking about not having the new style but it works for me. i even put a C32 AMG badge on my rear! +200 HP!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!! RICER CAR!!!

just so you know AMG even sells a rear bumper version without any exhaust opening.

LOL! im not sure myself frank its just an observation. thanks for correcting me though. its just there was a point i really wanted the C55 grill and it was a hopeless mod when i saw the difference on the front end! thanks for the info though!EDIT: BTW frank i love what you did to the W204 pretty sick! you going to tiajuana on saturday? do they make a grill like that for the w203?

Rotors are apparently the same dimension although calipers are different. The 05-07 cars, as FrankW said, do have an AMG kit. It's from the C32 - not the C55, which has the CLK front clip.

The '07 C230 has the M272 E25 engine... the 2.5 litre version of the V6 in the C280 and the C350.

a quarter mile at a time
brake rotors were smaller on all "normal" C-class sport sedans except for the C350, which got the full brake rotor + calipers from the C32/C55 (without the AMG branding or silver paint)
+1 with Frank that the AMG bodykitted sport sedans do in fact have some genuine AMG parts. The OEM grill sections on my car absolutely have AMG stickers on them from the factory. The C32 and 2005+ sport sedans have nearly identical, if not identical kits.
I believe some cars got AMG sway bars or sway bars that are VERY close in size as the C32/C55

you can find it on taiwan yahoo auctions. cargraphic wheels had them. i think it only looks right on certain wheels (mostly mesh wheels)
AMG wheels with those doesn't look that good.

The C32, C55, and *most* 2004.5+ sport sedan chassis received the 22mm front and 16mm rear anti-roll bars in lieu of the more pedestrian 20mm/13mm fitment. Their size can be easily verified with an inexpensive pair of vernier calipers. Our ‘07 has them.
MB rightly saw fit to empty their parts bins of all the good hardware as the W203 model was finishing its production run.
Couldn’t help but notice the planned ‘C55 sway bars’ upgrade in your signature.
They’re quite likely the same pieces you already have.
H&R and Eibach (26/19 & 24/22, respectively) offer worthwhile upgrades over your OE setup.
