C230 New Car Rattle
I just picked up an orion blue c230 with Auto, C2, Oyster cloth at Las Vegas for $28K. On the drive tonight back to Phoenix we noticed a noise coming from around the left rear wheelwell when we hit a bump, you could sometimes feel it also. Has anyone experienced a problem like this? I am going to try to inspect as much of the suspension before I go to work tomorrow morning. We love the car so far, 28.7 mpg overall on the trip home. Thanks

P.S. The Las Vegas dealer has a smoking deal on a C230 Brilliant Silver, Auto, C2, Bose, Tele-Aid and CD with 2300 miles, asking 27K but I think he will deal. Ask for Jay.

I crawled under my new car this morning but couldnt find any loose suspension parts. What I did find were a bunch of screws on the rockers that were not tight. The entire bottom of the car is covered by a flimsy plastic panel, the corner near the left rear wheel seems pretty loose. Is this a permanent fixture or something just intended for shipping.
