First Post - Wife just bought a 2006 C230 Sport (6-speed manual)
Greetings,
This is my first post. My wife just bought a 2006 C230 Sport -- 6-speed manual, bi-xenon, GPS navigation, sunroof package, power seat, cd changer.
The car handles very well, lots of fun with the 6-speed transmission on the lower suspension and 17" tires. She likes the luxury Mercedes look, and the sports handling.
With best regards,
- Alex.

Looks Good
Looks good thanks for the interior shot, like seeing that NAV unit in there too.
One thing don't take me wrong, but it that is a mat protector on the drivers floor board, get rid of it and enjoy the car, I have beige colored mats and they stay pretty clean so you should not have a problem. Good to see that you car about your car and it's cleanliness.

Are they....
Are front license plates required in your area. I know some states like New York require them, but here in Florida they don't and noone seems to install the front plate unless you ask them to do it. I passed on it.

I may have missed this
Is it a true manual transmission - clutch and all?
or like mine with triptronic.
If manual I didn't even realize Mercedes was doing that.

Thanks all, guys, for the warm welcome
Here's one more pic of the back side of the car. Yes, it is a 6-speed manual transmission, pair with the 2.5L DOHC V6 engine. May be it is the V6, or may be it is the relatively-short final axle ratio (3:27:1), the car feels very torque-ly. Each up-shift will give my back a firm push to the seat. The engine revvs smoothly. It is no where as fast as the C350 or C55, but it has enough power to pass on the freeway, and to give lots of fun on the twisty mountain road. Wife likes it very much so far.
I think the car is well equipped and sporty enough for my wife, no modification is planned at this moment.

You are so lucky that your wife could and willing to drive a manual....
my wife "allowed" me to get my little mazda in stick and said that she will learn how to drive it within two weeks after I buy it. Now, the car is almost three years old, she probably drove it once from garage to driveway...
When we looked into a c230 last summer, I did not even "dare" to mention the "manual"... sigh....
Glad, I can still keep my little manual mazda for a while...
