I don't see how can you compare the two? one is a race car prepared by AMG and the other one is not even made yet. I doubt that people will spend that kind of money to buy something that looks like the SL-class.

CLK-GTR is based on the W208 chassis, its 4+ years old and its designed for track use. The SLR uses state of the art 21st century technology, I believed the car has ceramic brakes? And its mainly a street car. I would go for a SLR.
But as Frank said, the McLaren F1 should be on top of the two. Maybe ask Mr. Gates to give us one? He has 2!
