Average repair time??
Does anyone have experience with average repair times at dealerships? My C240 (only 3800 miles) is still waiting a new braking master cylinder, which is not available in the USA, and on back order in Germany. The car has been in the shop since Friday, and it doesn't look like I'll get it back this week.
Anyone else had experience with back ordered parts?

I sincerely hope your dealer gave you a loaner. I find it hard to believe the part is not available. Tell the dealer to locate the parts at another dealer through MB parts distribution system.

I declined the "impala" they tried to loan me, and am using my other car. Apparently, after speaking with the dealer again, they are trying to take a unit of the production to fix my car. My service advisor seems to be pretty sincere, and I am happy with the dealer other than this delay...

my car was stuck at the dealer for 2 weeks... the car went in for problems with radio reception but each time they tried to do something, they found out that they had missed a part that they needed and had to wait till all the parts came in.. so i got stuck with jetta for 2 weeks...

Welcome to the world of low-volume foreign cars. As the car 'ages' more and more parts are in local stock. This mostly is a problem in the first year when parts are rare.
