W203 HID XENONS Problem.
Hey guys,
I have a problem, after installing a Aftermarket HID Kit to the car, I tried and tested without turning the ignition on. Great, they worked. Turned the lights off, turned ignition on so car was running, turned the lights on, nothing what so ever. Just flickering. Received a message on the screen saying low beam, left, right.
I've been on some sites and something to do with adding a resistor is being mentioned. I found out the kit was 35w and the standard halogen bulbs are 55w. I've seen a 50w resistor on ebay for HID kits. If I get that, should it be ok, would the 5w of difference make the computer think the bulbs are lowbeam, blown out?

So before anyone goes STFFs..
There is an entire thread about aftermarket light installation.
Please go read through it, or there'll simply be a cluster of the same questions asked over and over again.
