About switching to manual...
Can I dow it while I'm driving on D? Or I have to do it while I'm not driving?
can I switch back to auto while I'm driving? is it possible that I might harm my car or the computer wont allow me? cuz I noticed if I forgot to shift the gear it does it by it self.
can anyone write for me a simulation of driving on manual?
ex.: "I'm driving on D now. I saw that hot chick I want to follow. So, I move the stick to the right and switch to manual... "
"...I'm on 4th gear now, in front of me a traffic light, I should..."
"...I need to accelerate and go between those cars, so I should..."

I think you need to realise that you don't have a true manual. What you get by going to left is a range of gears. The MB auto tranny cannot be switched to a fully manual mode that will hold the gear. This is easily verified by putting it to left and letting your FSS idicator show you 4 for example. Now, if you come to a complete stop and then accelerate you will notice gear shifts.

Ok ok… I’ll make it easier. I’ll post some question and pray someone would reply…

yes! thats what dad told me! he was testing my car when said the car is shifting gears!
so... what I get from that is there is no way I could harm the car?

I'm starting to question you are in Kuwait. I was in Saudi Arabia (Jeddah) for 5 yrs and if there are any hot chicks 1) they'd be pretty much covered up so u cant tell 2) women are not allowed to drive (unless they changed the laws). 3) alot of questions you ask are in the manual that should have came with the car.

1) I'm from Kuwait. Women always drive cars here... since cars came to Kuwait!.
2) Women were never covered in black. some few now started to do that cuz they're married from saudis. they are considered odd here (with all due respect).
3) My manual is lost. said that millions of times. even if I didn't lose it. it probably would've been in German. dad's car is imported too. and its manual in german.

You should have a 5-speed auto. With this you can shift at any time by moving the lever to the right or left. This is promarily used if you want to downshift say going down a hill to a lower gear to slow the car down some so there is no need to hit the brakes. DO whatever you want with your car, the computer will not let you over rev the engine with an auto. It has rev limiters and the auto tranny will not shift down if it should not because of high revs. You can not damage the car using this mode. I also suggest finding a new owners manual and reading it, there is a lot of good info in there about questions you keep asking. You are young so I will forgive you for not knowing how to drive an auto, oh wait no I won't as an auto just does everything for itself and there is really no other need to put it in the manual mode unless downshifting for hills as I stated. It will not make the car any faster and is actually known to shift slower when using the lever, because the tranny has to think and of course the human being is not as quick as the computer to respond.

Lets assume that I’m racing with a girl on the highway… I’m on the fourth gear, I need to change lanes, I go to the right lane. I’m driving too fast. I must slow down. What should I do? brake then down shift to third?
After avoiding the car by changing lanes again… I should down shift again to accelerate or just press on the gas?
there is a difference I think… the C230K goes from 0-100Km/h in 8.1 sec on auto, 7.1 in manual I think.

OK, I just can't help it. I've said it before -- I'm fascinated with "everyone's" adoration of the manumatic transmissions that have become the rage. Automatics have ALWAYS been able to be shifted manually!! You could always downshift to 3rd, 2nd, etc down steep hills. All the manumatics do is let you punch the lever forward or back one gear at a time without worrying about missing a gear. OK, OK, they also prevent stupid mistakes, but c'mon, this isn't new!
And, to end my diatribe, any claim that a manumatic at all approaches a true manual just isn't true. (OK, I've slipped into my flame-resistant suit :p )

I think a lot off us are asking the same question. I for one question his stated age. 19? Some of his posts; i.e. C200K better than C230K, trade his for an SL500(SL350). Is an ISP check in order?

I hate it when people do that... about the C200 better than the C230... did you read the post before mine?! I know the C230 is better than mine. But I asked that question when one of the posters said that the European version of C200 has 2.3L engine and the US version of C230 comes in 1.8L.

Why not get a new manual from your dealer? Why did you get a car without knowing anything about it? You have to admit that that sounds very strange.
I said it millions of times... my car is imported... from Germany. I wont get free one from the dealer. they dealer wont even check my car for free... I have to pay for every thing... I wont pay 200 bucks for a manual!! (last time I had to pay the dealer 300 bucks just to see why I have the engine light on!! the problem was solved with a 9 bucks STP!!!!)

Yes, we have spring brake. its 30 days long. Friday is the final day. by the way... its after 3 am here. and if you notice my posts you'll see me I post all the times. I only get three hours of sleeping a day.
And hey, if you don’t believe that I’m Kuwaiti you can check the other topic of mine, the one about… umm… what was it, heh… what ever, there is some other topic here with a lot of posts in it (not about tires) I was talking Arabic in Kuwaiti accent with some other Kuwaiti guy. Kuwaiti accent is hard to learn. Even those that are living in Kuwait all their lives can’t even speak it correctly.
