W203 facelift, what will change?
I'm waiting for tax $$ and then I'm getting the 230K sedan. If there is going to be a change though I may wait to see what it looks like.
Eric
I see a more radical rake in the angle of the taillight "cut" (from the side view) down the quarter panel (more like the SL).
I also see the upgraded headlights as standard perhaps.
Maybe a rocker panel change (more like the current Sport package) standard.
Probably a lower front air damn change as well as rear apron.
They wont need to do much, as it is stunning as is IMO.
I bet that most non-Mercedes types won't even notice the difference.
Cheers, BT
Edit: M-B-Michael and I were thinking along the same lines - he just beat me by a minute. His tail light comment made me think - I'll bet the plastic of the tail light covers changes to look more like the E and CLK (adding that white triangle-ish shaped portion within the red).

As for changes, the "rounded butt" that is appearing on the SL and CLK should start making its way into the other models, and I see the front end of the coupe becoming standard across the entire C-class, with the agressive sloped grill and 3-point star grill.
The biggest change for us in NA will be the return of deisel engines.

They won't put the star on the grill on any of the sedans. That is something that they do only on coupes. (Well, anything with 2 doors, they're not all coupes.)
j/k
whats the point of having deisel engines?
At your price for gasoline of USD 0.78 per US gallon, probably not very much. You may be wondering why anyone who can afford an MB would care about the cost of driving it. However, the fuel price in most of the world is several times yours, which makes fuel economy more of an issue to consider. Also, some people like the increased torque and longer engine life of a diesel.
never mind just saw that you were referring to diesel. another reason to buy a diesel coupe!

The funny thing is that the rear lights have the clear portions that I think will probably be part of the face-lift.
