230 sedan w/intercooler?

has anybody put a intercooler on the 1.8 coupe or sedan?i'm thinking of buying one and putting all my parts from my coupe on to it,like my intercooler,c32 wheels, suspension, sway bars, but i would have to sell my pulley.
I'm trying to find out is there a decent hp gain from it,u would expect so having a higher boost but nobody has shown it in writing as of yet.any info would be great thanks Bobdole

Just my $0.02:
You already paid for the parts. Therefore if they fit and are transferable it doesn't matter how big the gain is. Why take a chance on leaving them on the old car at very little additional resale, if any at all.
You can even decide to take them off and put them up in the classified and might get a decent chunk back if thats what you decide.

You should get better results from the intercooler on the 1.8 due to the higher factory boost. I would like to know the gains because I am going to do the intercooler. I am thinking that it would be at least 10 hp maybe more. That is the gain that the 2002 gets and the boost is around the same on a pulleyed 2.3. Good luck and let us all know the gains.

yes it is,but it is much smaller, than putting a aftermarket Renntech which is a lot larger and wouldn't get heat soaked, when driving it hard
