I looke din the EPC and can not find anything like that. But what is wierd is it has it stamped.?

That is exactly what I was looking at. The part number does not come up anywhere, yet it is stamped on the muffler.

Perhaps a counterfeit mercedes part?

I was thinking about purchasing it to replace my Eisenmann Sport Exhaust.

As per my 2001-2006 MB parts list, the C230 sedan takes 203 490 4921 for center/rear muffler. I didn't see the part # you mentioned. If you try MERCEDESBENZGENUINEPARTS.COM you can do a search by part # and see what you get.

You want to hear somehting wierd my stock muffler is for a 06 C350 SS (w203) and the part number stamped on there is A 203 491 19 01 and I can't find it anywhere eighter.

here bro! hope this helps! when i saw your post i ran to my storage and took a pic of the actual muffler's part number.

the one you posted is for newer models. but yeah part number wont pull up online. i checked on WIS and its a good number. but this one is the one for your car.
