7 and a half cents per hp
Kleemann? Renntech? Brabus? Ha! They're all over priced!
Seriously...
Don't think I want to hook up a buck-fifty piece of electronics to a MB computer. Tell you what-anyone wants to try this on their car, I'll e-mail you the money!

He must know what he is talking about, since he says that the oxygen sensor measure the intake air. I assume he means Mass Airflow Sensor, but does the MAS even know the temp of the air? I know that colder air gives you more power, but does it really have anything to do with the MAS, or just the fact that it is colder when it goes into the engine?

I bought 3 and they work !!!
Bought 3 of them !!!
I installed one on/in my arm pit...
When I jog my brain checks for body temp and it thinks I am still good after 3 miles and would not send out signal to tire my legs. I nearly had a heart attack.
I installed the other 2 on my lawn mowers... Didn't do any good though
C'mon !!! Even if it actually fools the ECU into thinking the air is cooler than it really is the fact remains that the air is still HOT. And pumping more gas with hotter air does not produce more combustion. The extra gas would be wasted thru the exhaust. Right ???
Just my thinking and I need an automotive engineer to confirm.

LOOOOOL... thats a funny typo...

"The mod. simply makes your oxygen sensor think that the air that is coming in through the intake is colder air. Therefore, it will give it more gas which will create more power."
ummm.... yea. making your car run richer than it's supposed to will make you lose power if anything... and it'll foul your spark plugs too. great product!

Buyer beware!
This should tell you about the seller;
Feedback Summary 70 positives. 63 are from unique users.
3 neutrals.
11 negatives. 11 are from unique users.
Eleven negatives for this seller and that is to much. On the other hand I have zero and I am well over 250 feedback!!!

this is just like having a fuel pressure regulator in the car.... just gives the car more gas... wont reallie give you any power... MAYBE if you have mods on your car that takes in more air... and you adjust the fuel pressure accordingly might help. other than that... itz pretty useless...

Sorry to come in on your forum. I was searching intakes when I saw this thread. All this is, is just a resistor. You can get a five pack of them at Radioshack for $1.00. I tried it just to see what it would do. Yes, it did have gaines. It works like an ECU in the fact that it lets your engine suck in more air and fuel it with more gas. The difference is that an ECU can regulate it to lets say 20% more gas and air whereas the resistor will give consistently the same amount of gas and air at no matter what temperature. So if it is 100 degrees out it can give 40% more gas than it is supposed to, thus flooding the engine, fouling out the spark plugs, and killing your horsepower. So anyways, I tried this in my car when it was 50 degrees out. The resistor made my car think it was 10 degrees out. That's where I felt the gains, which were actually more significant than I thought they would be. When it warmed up to 75 degrees the next day my car felt very slow, and gas was actually leaking down the side of the engine. Obviously I took the resistor out and threw it away. If you're going to do this, save it for the track on a somewhat cold day. Otherwise don't do it at all. And yes, I would imagine this would void your warranty.

I don't know where the gas was leaking from. It would drip on the asphalt after driving. I could smell it from the inside of my car and everything. After I took the resistor out it was fine.

its the same thing as taking a honda and switching the collant temp sensor wires. the computer thinks the car is cold and gives it more gas to help it warm up. as for those of you who think a little rich mixture is bad for hp, actually most engines accelerate better and produce more hp a little on the rich side then they do on the lean side or near stoich(sp?).But i still wouldnt do it.
