3rd (Center) Brake Light

I searched on this and didn't really find anything. I've gotten a "malfunction" indicator for my 3rd brake light. Has anyone ever replaced theirs before? I assume you'd have to take the panel off the trunk lid and come in from behind. Does MB break it down into different parts? Or am I going to have to order an entirely new brake light assembly and replaced the whole thing? Any help/advice is appreciated.

Does anyone know if the Third Brake Light just Snaps into Place with those Clamps attached to it?

Not from the outside. You have to take off the trunk liner and install it through the inside. There was another thread on this about a month or so ago where I described the process. Not very complicated...just takes some time to pull all those pins/grommets out.
