trunk lettering
hello, a while ago i had my truck smashed by an suv and they replaced it but they messed up the c230 lettering so i pulled it off and now i want it back on.
what kind of tape can i use?

No problem. I dont know if you have a wing or not but if you dont and plan on getting one get a ticker size because then you can cut it into smaller strips for the letters and still have a thick enough for wing (kill two birds with one stone).

You can use 3m Automotive tape to reattach the spoiler. Just make sure the poundage on the tape is pretty high and when you install it to let it cure overnight with some weight on the spoiler to ensure its on there correctly.

If you have patience, yes. Just wiggle the emblem from the center carefully at first. Then get in a putty knife, and push the emblem out a little at at time, going from behind each prong, then on to the next one, push it out a little, on to next, and so forth until you can remove it easily.
When you do paint the emblem, tape off the prongs - they're a very tight fit, and if you get any paint on them, it's harder to push it back flush with the body.
