Please Help Identify This "Amp" Wire in rear Trunk Right Panel

Hey all

I have a 2002 C coupe with the Bose system, I was looking around in the trunk in the right panel and noticed this wire. The sticker says "Amp". The factory Bose sub does seem to be working. So I am not sure if the amp is missing or if this is for an additional amp?

I am looking to install an aftermarket amp and sub, was wondering if anyone knew if i could tap into this cable with a hi low adapter?

Here are some pics

That's a fiber optic line/D2B connector. Not sure what amp would plug in, but that is definitely a fiber optic line that would be used to add a component to the fiber optic loop. Don't tap into it as it will damage the fiber. There is probably a 12v wake-up wire back there too. It will have three small wires going to a small plastic connector. Good luck on it.

That is D2B connector for adding the telephone kit. There will probably be some other actual wire wiring for it. That is probably spare fiber that runs to the front and behind the radio that would allow you to swap over leads to configure the fiber ring easily. I've made the install, just don't remember right off hand.
