2006 C230 SS Manual Shift Knob Fitment
I purchased the Brabus knob for my 2006 C230 SS from CEC, and the fitment is off. The existing knob and shifter are of a larger diameter than the Brabus one. We have confirmed this is the correct part # for the year, any suggestions?

If CEC agrees that it's the right part, there's not much you can do except return it. It's much too expensive of a knob to try to McGyver to work correctly, at least in my eyes.
If you're adventurious, you could try to dremel down the end of the shift rod, but I think that's way too much work, and would obviously make it impossible to use the stock one again.
