oh ok...and I assume b/c my year and your year too i believe does not have the charcoal filter? or the sun sensor? I mean we have the auto feature and I know i have that lil black bubble thing on my dash...i always thought that was the sun sensor for the auto headlights...do the newer models (from which this digital system was designed) have one for the auto A/C function as well? and what would be the point of our auto function w/o such a sensor? or are you simply saying they are not compatible...?
forgot what the option is called, but it is part of an option to the rest of the world. It is called the Solar sensor btw. the digital climate control adds dual air-flow controls, solar sensor, and a smog-sensing odor filter.
2005+ this feature is not part of any C-class that's brought to the US.

What if I can get the new panel for the HVAC and the ESP panel (pics below) ? is it gona work ? and YES I do like the newer digital HVAC in the second pics. Getting those panels is not a problem but the problem here is a rewiring part.

Won't work. Although the center console shape is the same for the pre-facelifts (2004.5 and older) as the post-facelifts (2005-2007), the cutouts for the radio, HVAC and buttons (heated seats, sunshade, etc) are different.

The images I have posted, do have these "buttons" - I would assume that they would work from Sindelfingen, but then again, they could be like the phone buttons on the HU and 9.5 out of 10 not hooked up to a MHI and thus do nothing.
Thanks,
Jake

FrankW...In post #14, I posted a picture with two VINs from late 2005 build, early 2006 with Factory "Climatronic" - or the Digital Read out on US Domestic Market cars. Can you explain, or give more detail on your above comment that after 2004 (I am assuming you mean build date (not Model Year), and thus POST face-lift) "they" deleted these features in the w203.

if the car does come with the digital unit it means it does have all the function on the unit.
