Problems with Gulf Specification W203

I own a 2003 W203 C180 Kompressor. Here in Oman the warranty is only 3 years. This car is mainly used by my wife and clocked only 66,000 km (41 k miles). I am an expatriate and will only be here for the next 3 year and in limbo to sell or keep this car. Resale is very low here and spare parts are damn expensive. I have the following worry:

1) Multi function display fade if I park the car in hot sun. If it is parked under shade then it is fine. The temperature here in summer can get to 50 C (122 F). Question: will this get worst or remain as it is?
2) How long does the absorber last? So far it is still okay
3) It has stalled once (few months back) for no reason but seems to be okay now. Is this something to do with the engine misfire (happens twice already)?. Am I looking at an expensive repair cost?
4) ATF - I have yet to change mine. I was told that it could last a lifetime but sometimes I see different opinion in this forum. Considering it is 6 yrs old and need to go further 3 yrs - should I do the ATF change?
5) Though I have not reached 100 k km (60 k miles) should I change the spark plug (considering the age)?

Appreciate anyone out there who could give their expert opinion. At least it could help me with my decision. - azmir
