My factory 35w bulbs are painfully dim. I'm assuming that this is because they are almost 8 years old. New bulbs cost practically as much as an entire 55w HID kit. Can I replace all of the old hardware with a 55w kit?

u have bi-xenons? my stock ones had the same problem... i got in the headlamps and found out that the bulbs where not in all the way... after adjusting them i got my full output of my lights back, maybe u should just replace the bulb. to 6k maybe? they are only like $25 shipped.

Deja vu!

I'd replace the bulbs and call it a day. Sure, the bulbs might cost you as much as a cheap kit, but it's OEM otherwise.

This system provides 3200-3400 Lumens at 35 watts and an amazing 5000 Lumens at 55 watts per bulb.
This really makes me want to get 55w, though. Does anybody know if the ddmtuning 55w ballast will connect to my factory xenon frosty headlights?
