Back in the day, I had a C-coupeish Isuzu Impulse with a single, big-*** windshield wiper in the center. Didn't MB have a model with this same single-blade design?

MB had a number of models with single blade
I think the E class was, and maybe still does, use a single blade. The CLK uses one, and there are others for sure. I wouldnt doubt that the SLK used just one also. They seem to be going away from that design. I think they are finally seeing that its not very reliable. All that movement in the center mechanism is just too much.
