I did a search and couldn't find a DIY for replacing the A/C compressor.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe

Not reccomended for DIY, unless you want to risk ruining a $1200 compressor. And you need to special equipment to properly service the system. Just sit down before you hear what the replacement with labor will cost.

Thanks for the response. I figured to bring it somewhere to get it evacuated, then replace the compressor myself, then bring it back for them to vacuum and recharge it.
Being that I'm exposing the system, is there anything else I should replace or be aware of?
I'm guessing that I will access it from underneath the car. There doesn't seem to be room from the front or from the engine bay. Please don't tell me I have to lift the engine to get to this thing out!
Thanks again!
