Angry Blower Motor Replacement

I own a 2001 C240 and found out that my blower motor went caput. Anyone have replaced one and can share some DIY on replacing it. I would guess it can be access by removing the passenger footwell cover and the glove box.

Hate to bring to stealership. Any recommendation where I can find a cheap OEM part. Many thanks in advance.

You can find the part number by accessing the MB EPC (Electronic Parts Catalog) on the web. http://epc.startekinfo.com/epc/welcome.jsp and then order the part through a trademotion mercedes online retailer, such as www.getmercedesparts.com

I may have an extra blower on hand. My AC went out about a year ago and the f__ckers at the dealership said the blower was bad even though it was working when I brought it in. I will have to run jumpers to the blower to make sure it works, I am sure the idiots at the dealer replaced a good part.

Let me do a bench check on it and I will let you know tommorrow.
