in my 01 C320 i disconnected the battery in an attempt to reset the ecu..when i reconnected the battery i found out my signals, windshield wipers, gas gauge n god know what else stopped working ..any idea whats going on or what i can do to fix it??

uh oh... hmmm try turning the car on... Turn the steering wheel all the way to the left then all the way to the right.. then back to the left... this could reset your issue..
Best case - you need a resync, as stated above.
Okay case - you blew some fuses. Check as needed, and read your manual.
Worst case - you fried the front SAM. If you're not under warranty, time to work a little harder at your job.
MBs do NOT like to get disconnected.

not to try and make you feel worse but i think the gas gauge is all rear sam. that might mean you blew both. lets hope not

BOTTOM LINE...you destroyed the REAR SAM. I will bet on it. its NOT the front SAM.
