Hi Guys,
I had to remove steering wheel on my w203 coupe as my blinker stalk was faulty, however after refitting the wheel as soon as I started to drive the car now says 'ESP NOT AVAILABLE' can anyone help with this?
Cheers guys...

Did you disconnect the battery? Turn the wheel lock-to-lock to fix it.Originally Posted by 117

Otherwise I'm not sure. Might be a steering angle sensor problem.
Did not disconnect the battery, and have tried turning the wheel lock to lock with engine running in park, is there anything else I could try, is it possible that there is a loose connection to the angle sensor?
Try sticking your old stalk back and see if it goes away.
Chances are though, it's a sync issue. Or maybe the dealer needs to clear a code.

if you turned the clock spring while it was out, you could have damaged it and it may need replacement.
Yes it did get turned slightly!!! I should have treated it more delicately but it was very stiff to remove! What kind of cost am I looking for a replacement....
