Is $13,895 a good price?
Thanks,

dont let the mileage fool you, forget it and move on.
I sold my 2003 C230 2-Door Coupe with around 66,000+ miles and 1 year of CPO Extended Warranty left on it for $9,950 a month later.
Of course, the price depends on where you live, your timing, and what the local market is like, but hopefully those 2 examples will help you determine whether you're getting a good deal or not.
2001 and 2002 were bad years for the C-class, so I wouldn't buy one of those years AT ALL. If you have $14k to spend and you shop around you should be able to find a 2004 or, preferably, a 2005 car. There's a guy on here who just posted a thread about buying a 2005 C230 for $13,500 with 56k miles. That's a good deal. Your deal sucks and you should not follow through.
BTW - 30k miles in 7 years? If the car has done a lot of short trips those low miles are very deceiving when it comes to engine health.
And I live in the Chicago suburbs, I'll add it to my profile.
Again, don't be conned into thinking low mileage is a win. A car that's driven short trips everyday will have poorer engine health than a car that spends a lot of time at freeway cruise speeds.

Honestly, I don't know what to think of KBB. When I went to trade in my 2002 C240, the dealer looked it up on KBB and showed me that it was worth just under $5,000 for "excellent" condition (according to KBB). Looking it up on Edmunds.com or other sites yielded a figure just under $10,000 for "excellent" condition. So I sold my 2002 C240 for way above KBB, but a bit below Edmunds.com. If I learned anything from this experience, it's that there is no "one" source that sets used car prices, and what's most important is what the market is willing to pay.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Of course dealers would like to use KBB. If they could strictly deal with KBB values they'd turn $5,000-6,000 in profit on used cars - if not more.
This is why I said that EVEN the ridiculous KBB value of the C240 the OP was looking at was below what he was about to pay.
Price is pretty high
240 has a weak engine try looking for a 230
When I purchased my car KBB said 26K but I got it for 20K an di'm sure the dealer made some money out of the deal.
By the way this is how I feel about W.I. Simonson in Santa Monica
