Coolant For 2005 C230 Kompressor
Hi,
Searched the forum, No threads relating to my car model.
Im getting the message "check coolant level"
Looking for what type of coolent to use for my 2005 C230 Kompressor?
Rather not order online, Prefer going to an auto store. Thanks for the help!

Do not go to your dealer! You're just going to get ripped off. You need to buy Zerex G-05 coolant (which is available at some auto parts stores). It's the same coolant MB rebrands. There are several threads about this.

i wouldnt call it a rip-off, but there is a markup. I paid ~$15 for a gallon at the dealer. (make sure you mix the right concentration the directions are on the gallon adn in your maintenance book)

i would have said that but if the guy is asking about that error he is not a car nut so i didn't want him going in to his local parts place and walking out with gm or generic coolant. that could be bad
