how much for balance and alignment?

i just went to the dealer and they recommended me doing a four wheel alignment and balance my tires.

they want $46 for balancing and $100 for a four wheel alignment. Is this reasonable?

if it isn't, anyone know of any socal shops that is reliable for alignment?

thanks

Are they recommending it because you have a problem, or because of time or mileage? If there are no vibrations and the car doesn't pull to the left or right and your tire wear is even, then I would do nothing. They are probably just trying to make some money off of you. I think the computers are set up to automatically recommend certain services based on mileage, and I think alignment comes up often.

sorry, i just read your other thread, if you have a problem, then do it. That price doesn't sound too bad for an MB dealer, but you can probably get it done cheaper elsewhere.

My local MB dealer, MB of Laguna Niguel charges either $79 or $89, I forgot but it's one of those for a four wheel alignment, don't know about balancing.
