C230 Coupe CD Player vs. Changer
I don't understand what people have been saying here. IS there a CD player...vs. a CD Changer that Will fit under and work with the stock radio (and steering wheel) in an American MB C230 Coupe? If so...how much and where can I get one? Will the European radio/cd work in an american MB? Is the ONLY option, if you want a CD in the C230 Coupe american, to get the MB changer?

There is no factory unit which fits under the factory head unit. The Euro head unit has a CD player, but I believe the frequency spacing and range on Euro radios is somewhat different. The only way to easily get a cd player/changer which works with the steering wheel controls is the factory changer. It is, however available from a couple of aftermarket sources. Or, if you, or someone you know, is going to Europe, it can be purchased from a Mercedes dealer there for about US$275.

You can get the Becker A10 designed for the european market from a dealer in the UK or Italy. If you fret getting an MB changer you can get the Becker 2662 but you'll have to make a custom brackets. Since you are asking the same question on the Becker board then you probably know the answer. Check my post there for the address of the UK dealer. Also to save some dough you may want to check out E-Bay. Be careful about the model number as the one for other models will work but not fit in the glovebox.
