Mercedes gives $75 to test drive C Class...etc..
Just got a silver tin 'brouchure' to test drive the new C230 Sport Sedan, and to sweeten the deal, they are throwing in a $75 Amazon.com gift certificate.
This is actually not the first thing I have gotten from Mercedes since ordering the 2003...
Keychain - Day I ordered the car (Actually sent the day of, received few days later)
Keychain - Day I first came in for service (got in mail few days later) - With letter thanking me for using MB service...umm..yeah its free and its under warantee, no thanks required.
Pen - Again, thanks for choosing MB. (mail, random time)
Now that I am thinking about it...the cars could be the price of a civic if they stop giving out free stuff....does anyone else get tons of stuff from MB or am I on some sort of twisted mailing list?

Yea, I have received a couple of keychains, and a MB dog that has a MB shirt and MB hat. It is pretty cool. It looks like you are making out of the deal. I hope they keep it up...

MBUSA sent me a card for a free Sony Discman, for driving the new C230 coupe and Land Rover recently sent me an offer for a $75 VISA cash card to drive the new Discovery. Cant complain....

I ain't got nothin'
not a lousy pen, not a stinkin' key chain, not even a thank you note. Got a 10% discount on parts from dealer after 3 months. But nothing from MB-USA

i didnt get anything either
no gift certificates, blankets, or fleeces....i dont even get the free cookies and donuts that i hear everyone gets... euromotorcars just doesnt spoil us i guess

Just rec. the C-Class test drive ...
invetation at my purchase dealer and get that $75 gift Cert. from Amazon.com. Other than this, NOTHING. But at least I will get 2 free Detail from my dealer.
It's weir that MB doesn't send you the free MB magzine. I'm still getting Audi's magazine and birthday gifts even I had already return my car last Aug. (2002).

has anyone participated in this program and gotten their coupon "stamped"? I really am looking at a C320 sedan, I wonder if they would accept that as a test driver and stamp me...

na ah, i got that **** like a month ago but i haven't even opened it. its sitting right here on my desk, sounds good.
but im not walking into euro motor cars to test drive a car just for a gift certificate, i'll look like an idiot.
and yeah i got like 4 of those cool key chains when i sealed the deal but never got anything afterward accept calls from my sales person reminding me to fill out his stupid survey.

seriously! i havent gotten a thing. not even a keychain. they gave me some crappy one that has the dealers name on it and stuff. even the acura dealer gives out better keychains. sheesh

I did just that, I got an offer to come test drive the new C230 sports coupe and I would recieve a Sony discman, I went to my salesperson and showed him the offer and told him I would prefer to drive a C320 and he said fine, no problem and stamped the offer.

I received a gift certificate for $75 for Barnes & Noble for test driving a C230.
It worked for them because I bought one!
Also got a tin of cookies from my dealer.
