Service Experience @ Autowerks, SD
As I promised in following up my serivce at Autowerks Randall and Michael were great to talk to and they actually, believe it or not, have met Steve and just yesterday (Feb. 24, 2003) installed the bi-xenon retrofit on someone's C. I just did some basic cosmetic stuff (i.e. Euro Impact Strips and some Razo bulbs) The Razo bulbs are amazingly high powered! I mean compared to my Phillips Blue Vision...wow!!! I definitely recommend these bulbs. I also definitely recommend this shop to anyone in the vicinity!
service to come: H&R Cup Kit!
Just wanted to get some peoples opinions: what do you guys think of knock of wheels? I'm not the one to really get anything of the 4th market but it is tempting knowing the price difference! Any other difference?

C230K Coupe/Orion/C4/C5/CD/AMG Spoiler/V60/TeleAid, 2 MGB's
I have wire knock offs on one of my MG's...and they're ok...but:
The threads for the spinner are very fine...cross thread it once, and you'll regret it.
The Benz will also require hub adapters which will add to your cost. Figure around $100 per corner...
Styles are limited....very limited
Because of the need for thicker surfaces to take the stress tensions at the hub....the wheel/adapter combo is inherently (and considerably) heavier than a similar alloy/bolt set up
On the upside....damn, they do look good!
Hope this helps.....
