Headlight lamp replacement

Audi S4, C230 Coupe

Headlight lamp replacement

I'm not on this forum all that much, more of a daily on the Audi site. Anyone have any tiips to just change the bulbs in the 230? I haven't looked at it yet, wife and I are seperated. Is it easy?

Yes its easy. Just take the back plastic piece off and the bulb will be head into place with the metal clip type things. You just hae to push down on them to removed the bulb and then swap and put it back the way it was. You will know what I am talking about when you take a look.

If your going to replace the bulbs might as well go HID just my 2 cents... There only 60 dollars shipped from one of the sponsors i believe.

If my wife and I get back together (hoping) then I will add that to the list. I got her rims not too long ago, I want to drop the car next.

Too much information!

Anyway, as has been said, once you know how to do it, it's pretty simple. Though the removal of the bulbs is a little tricky - just keep pulling out - no twisting is necessary.
