New headliner or how to clean it??
As you may know one's car can get rather dirty, especially a car with beige/cream interior, but hey you can get it detailed. The only problem w/that is that they don't clean the headliner. They say that it could possible wear it down or stain it(w/chemicals not dirt). So my question is:How can we replace it? Or does anyone know someone that can clean it? As for the replacement of it I've seen 310Motoring do things like suede headliners(very pimpIMO) and other custom things like that-but since it is 310Motoring I'm thinking it will be very expensive. Does anyone have suggestions?? Thanks....

The best way is to have a professional detailer steam clean it for you.
You can do it yourself with upholstery cleaner but is is slow and laborious and working up over your head isn't fun.

The headliner in my car is made from regular ole' fabric. I can't see why cleaning it is any different then any other fabric. I used carpet cleaner to spot clean a few places where I (or maybe the service guy) had touched with dirty hands.
