remote door locking sys not working aftr bat disconneted on my 2002 c230
Hopefully someone can help me.. I disconnected the ground side of my battery to try to get rid of a check engine code .. stupid... atfer that I had to rest/sync the windows, roof, esp.. the remote locking system doesn't work now.. it locks vie the button in the car but not by the remotes.. I have tried both remotes and they apear to work/flash etc... I am concerned that I may have damaged the rear sam after reading several posts.. I have checked all the fuses I can find but I don't know which on is for the doors/security system.. If this is the sam can I buy one on ebay from a junker and put it in ??? any suggestions would be appreciated.. I would take it into the dealer but I lost my job 2 months ago.. weee this is fun.. Ron

I called and talked to the Mercedes dealers mechanic.. he said it shouldn't be doing that and to bring it in. Is there an 800 number your talking about ?

Driver Door Locking Prob....

Well i got 2003 C230 Kompressor Coupe. I was looking for the A/C fues by mistake i exchanged few fuses in wrong spot Now the driver side door is not locking by remote but the passenger side is working. When i lock the door by remote from passenger side it locks but from driver side its not working. Now im bit confused. What i did ... Any help would appreciated.
