i just wanted to know if anyone has bought staggard rims for the 4 matic and if so, have you had any problems with the transfer case or transmissionbecause of having wider rims in tthe rear then the front cause i wanna put 9.5 in the rear and 8.5 in the fronts. but rim dealers say that i shouldnt do itcould cause probs.

 

i think i've read somewhere that staggered rims shouldn't be used on all wheel drive, but i'm sure someone else has a more definite answer.

 

Do a search, its been discussed many times before.

Some people have done it with no problems, but why take the risk?
