2002 C230K, Silver, 6-speed, Evo, Roof, Leather, CD, Staggered C7 Wheels
Actually no. Someone suggested that those are the new SL rims which do look similar to C7, but in fact I went back to the dealer and looked at the catalog again and saw the they are the correct C7 wheels (called ALSHAIN btw) and they come in both 7.5 and 8.5 inch wide formats. Hence I ordered a pair. I will present photos when they arrive.

Hey Voyager, I thought in the other thread we determined that the 8.5 were in fact different from the C7s?

andrewK has the rim I want
bagwell, actually the C32's dual spoke does not come in 18. It only has 17". The 18" dual spoke has the same design as the CLK55's 17" dual spoke which is different from the C32's dual spoke.

By comparing the above pics, it's easier to see the difference between the two types of double spokes. I noticed the C32 rims have a flat circular part around the lug holes where it says AMG. The new double spokes are different here and it changes the look and also makes the spokes appear longer.

But which CLK55 are you talking about? The W208 did not have double spokes. And I thought the W209 had the new style ones, but in 17" instead of 18". But yes, I know that the C32 and the SLK32 have the same 17" rims.

That wheel may look different in different pics but there is no "new stye" AMG Double Spoke in 17 inch size. All 17X7.5 & 17X8.5 AMG Double Spokes are the same with the same stock number.
I believe the 18" Double Spoke looks slightly different.

Secondly, the W209 has 17" wheels and they look like they are the same style as the 18" ones. Here are some pics I found on the CLK55 forum courtesy of JamE55.
This is a C32 with the old style rims:
And this is a W209 CLK55 with 17" double spokes, but they are obviously the same style as the 18" ones found on the E55, S55, CL55:
Hope that helps clear things up.

Oh I see the C32 wheel had AMG stamped twice on the wheel and the others only have AMG once.
AMG list the following for Stying IV:
17X7.5 B6 603 1026
17X8.5 B6 603 1027
17X7.5 B6 603 1302 (Sterling Silver)
17X8.5 B6 603 1303 (Sterling Silver)
So the newer Sterling Silver models must be slighty different. I see it. Thanks.

Price no object I like the HRE 542R with a brushed aluminum finish on the center and high polish on the rim. Forged center rolled rim and truly directional.
A staggered AMG setup would be my more modest choice.
