2003 c320 iPod Adapter

I was wondering if any of you have found an iPod adapter for the c320?
I would rather use an actual iPod adapter vs. a 1/8in port (I did hear there is an 1/8in port in the glove box?) so that I can change the song with the radio and also it will charge the iPod.
I have seen kits that forgo the cd player and hook the iPod to the cd player harness. I would be more than willing to do this since an iPod is more important than a cd player to me.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for you time.

There is no ipod Adapter in our cars.. like there is in the 2005+.. Theres a few mods you could do.. There is also a very pricey $$$$$$ add on.. Not really worth it in my book. tape deck works wonders with my ipod..

That is what I was afraid of. I saw one mod but it was $600, and I figured that the tape deck would do it for me after I saw that. Just wanted to see if there was something I was missing.
