Door Handle Question

Door Handle Question
Hello,
I ran a search on obtaining and installing the color keyed door handles and have run into conflicting information.
Has anyone swaped the non-C7 door handles with the color keyed ones? I have read that one persons dealer claimed that they needed: 2 handles, a cap, and a guide for the driver side($117). And then I read that all you need is the new handles and the cap.
Can anyone verify this?
TIA

i think all you need is the new handles cuz the difference is one is painted and one is not. I think it's possible to just paint your existing handles.
