noobie question about headlights auto
was starting car today and let it warm up, noticed the head light turned off after a minute or 2, i threw it in drive and they turned on... i dont remember thishappening befor.. and if it was a feature why would the head lights turn on for a minute and then turn off? could i have electrical issues, i noticed when i started the car the cd player lights turned on and off like it was glitching.. headlamps are always set to auto

Do you live in an area with trees or tall buildings. Sometimes the shadow from trees, buildings or other obstructions can cause the light sensor to trigger the lights. I'm thinking you started the car in an area where it thought there was enough light and it didn't fire yor headlights, once you started moving however, you caught a dark spot and it turned your lights on.

Sounds about right.... mine automatically turn on every time I pull into my garage. Next time it happens look and see if your dash/cluster lights come on too... then it's just a normal thing, nothing to worry about.
