I have removed all of the pillars, lights, handles, rearview mirro, and it is still sticking around the sunroof. Can someone tell me how to finish removing my headliner? Any help is greatly appreciated!

it is a 2002 C240, and I thought I removed what clips there were around the sunroof, but it is still stuck.

My headliner is falling down so thought how hard can it be to pull it down and re-cover it myself. I searched and everything sent me to the IMS DIY which was good to get all of the misc. parts off, did not mention anything about the wiring glued to it, or where I would need to disconnect it from, turns out I can disconnect behind the back seats. Anyhow I will post some pictures as I work through it, might help others in the future. Taking a break as I got aggravated with the wires!

Famous last words . i understand about getting frustrated. when i was installing my nav unit i took it in and out like 50 times. one day i had a friend their so i was talking to him not really paying any attention to what i was doing and i broke the cable that controls all the steeper motors. lucky what happened was the connector on the end cracked and one side was gone but the other side plus superglue saved the day. that would have been fun if i had to replace that cable it is only like $30 but you have to rip out the dash. good luck on fixing your headliner and pics would be wonderful for the collection of diy on here.

I was going to say - Maybe this is a great time to add in the INTERIOR MOTION SENSOR...IMS...or IR (N72/1s19 IR switch with ATA (Not USA))

You may also want to check out your sunroof while you have the headliner down!

You could also add in rear map lights in the dome light...the new wireharness needs to be ran to the rear SAM.

Good luck - Look forward to the pictures!
