M271 Spark Plug- Dealer Gave Me Wrong Part?
So I was going to install my spark plugs tomorrow in my 2004.0 C230 Sedan (M271). I went to the dealer about 2 months ago and purchased 4 plugs for $12 each because I had a credit for a part return. I just opened one up now and noticed they were NGK ILFR6A, and all of the threads I read said the MB OEM plugs should be the Bosch F 6 MPP332 or NGK ILFR60. I am pretty sure that they gave me the wrong part, but can someone confirm this before I go yell at the parts guy?

C300 Sport/Palladium Silver on Black/P2
hey i just ran a search on amazon. the NGK one you thought was right they don't have.
However, the one you actually were given NGK ILFR6A they have in stock. The tool on the site says it will fit 2004 C230 , so seems like you may be all set. Maybe the number changed.
on amazon these are $10.30 so your price wasn't too bad either.
Sounds like you're good to go from what I can find.

white and whiter
lol...you can just go to your local parts store and buy the plugs. There's really no need to buy them from the dealership as NGK iridium or Denso or Bosch are all widely available.
as long as the gap is correct and the heat range is within what you want to use they're fine.

I went to the dealer this morning, and this plug is the new dealer part that superceeds the original Bosch. OEM from the dealer now is this plug for the M271. I also went to Advance to double check, and they showed the Bosch F 6 MPP332 and the NGK ILFR6A for the M271.
