Can I STAR code for BiX prior to install?

There is no bix control module.
There is autoleveling stuff possibly related to other modules, but that's a separate function.
The only 'module' related to bix is the ballast, and it's not intelligent.
Setting to "present" just tells the computer that it's ok to only draw 35w instead of 55w and not shut off the lamp. Having more than 35w is OK, so you can drive with the halogens till they're installed.
1. EIS- Electronic Ignition Switch
2. Control Unit Adapations
3. Read Coding and change if necessary
4. All Codes
5. Xenon Headlamp- (Change to "present")

So am i right in deducing that the Xenon = Present setting is not validated during the night?? That doesn't make much sense
I'm going to install them anyway and take it back tomorrow to get coded.

I'm not sure if I first turned them on before starting the car... but while the car was on at night, and today during the day, prior to BiX coding, they worked fine. Regardless, I got my car coded for xenon today at the shop, so I shouldn't be seeing any errors in the future.
when i first installed them, they were running perfectly when lights were in "ON" position, but the xenon were flickering during the day when i had the lights "OFF"..
i was waiting to go online to check the xenon=present thread then i had to drive the car so i fiddled with the on board computer, i found something that u can set to "continue" or "non continue" (i cant remember the exact words, its in your lightning options)... i set it to the one that says "non continue"
this stopped the flickering when they were off, and when on they are perfect...
