I already said "I DON'T think the 325i can beat a C320."

Again, the 15.4 s of the 325i I quoted was from Car & Driver, & NOT the fastest time. I could've quoted the 15.0 s from Motorweek but chose not to because 15.4 s is more the avg (like how 15.7 s is more the avg of the C230).

BTW, 0.1 s is not really "faster". The difference between 15.0 s I stated & 15.3 s you stated isn't all that much either.

Link to the 15.0 s from Motorweek: http://www.mpt.org/motorweek/reviews/rt1907a.shtml

Note: that was recorded on a 00 manual 323. In 01, the 323 became the 325. Both used a 2.5L engine (the 323 did NOT use a 2.3L engine, don't know why they didn't call it 325. Kind of confusing like the C240 w/ the 2.6L engine).

Not that I believe everything I read in the Mags, but every one I've read says 6.9-7.3 secs, max for the C320. No slower than 7.3. Most were within .1 sec of 7.0 flat.

My previous car was an 8-sec to 60 ride, and my C320 is WAAAAAY faster.

You won't beat a C320 with a 325i, sorry... 330i, yes.

Again, I did not mean a 325i would beat a C320. In response to Outland, I said I wasn't so sure about the C230 beating the 325 (he said the C230 could take the 325, & that the C320 would be overkill).

I said the 325i is as fast as the X-Type 3.0, IS300, A4 3.0, which I've backed up w/ C & D times. Nowhere did I say the 325i is faster than the C320.

somehow road & track always have better 0-60 times from testing the same cars. C320 from R&D is 6.9 0-60 and 15.2@91.7 1/4 mile. X-type 3.0's 1.4 mile is 15.2@91.4 mph, and the IS300 at 15.4@90.5 mph.
