Fedex finially shipped my package containing the Bi-Xenon headlamps to me today. I will be installing them soon as soon as the freezing rain stops.

They cost me $1000 including shipping from Europe. Unfortunately they will not fit the coupe. There is a specific set for the coupe that can be purchased from your MB dealer since Steve seems to have a hard time finding a supply of Coupe Bi-Xenons.

Since your car is a 2003, why didnt you just get it with the bi-xenon lights?

I am currently awaiting for a quote from mercedes for the delivery of 100(!) 203 bi xenon sets...both sedan and coupe...in the original box...no rejected lights...I hope the quote will be good enough to take.

I ordered it like that but because i ordered my car so early, they set up the options as 2002 options for the 2003 car.

Well my car is finally as i want it to be.

Those lights look really clean as is! Amazing...you make me envious! I need to get a pair ASAP! The only thing that is making me hesistant is the auto-leveling feature. I might as well just buy a new car later on w/ bi-xenons installed? I still like them though! Umm...dilemma!

I was wondering if anyone put some chrome rings on the Bi-Xenon headlights? Do they looks nice? Does it dimish any effect that the light has?

do i need to turn on the xenon setting FIRST by the dealer before i install them or AFTER?

Do it after. It would'nt be advisable since something could happen to prevent you installing the lights before night time and we would'nt want our fellow MBWorld member driving without headlighs at night.

No, I think i've been hearing that you should do it before. Your lights will still work normally before you put the xenons in. And I think you have a better chance of the xenons working correctly if you set it to xenon present before you change the lights.
