im in the process of making a dead pedal also from the slk (c7) gas pedal. i just have to find a way to attach it to the floor. silicone is one way, but NOT removeable. screwing it is a little dangerous because there are wires under it. any suggestions?

For those that are still wondering, that's a Subaru WRX style dead pedal w/ Rubber nubs. They're for sale on eBay right now. At around 55 bucks including shipping, it's a little pricey (more than the complete set of SLK pedals) but we don't really have many other options for dead pedals, do we? ;0)
