NEED HELP!!! TAIL LIGHT ISSUE!!!

i have an 2004 c230 coupe, and i was doing some black friday shopping with some family, and my bro in-law was following me, and he told that my right tail light is brighter then my left tail light, so i just thought it might just be the bulb, i went to autozone got new bulbs check out the wiring and did everythings i can think off to fix it. but no luck( and i did put the bulbs in the right way on both sides).
has anybody else had this issue in the pass? and if so how did you fix it?
please help
thanks

This issue might be being caused from when you turn your lights on, when you pull out the knob (2) times to turn them on, then the second time you pulled it, it activated one of the tail lights to be brighter than the other, this feature is made for cases in heavy rain, fog and etc. So instead of pulling your knob out (2) times for your lights, pull it out only one time and they should both be even.
Let us know if you have any other questions!

thanks again!!

I like driving with all the lights on, including fog
looks better in my opinion.
+1 on driving with the front fogs on. I like running the city lights and front fogs around dusk/sunset. Then I run lo-beams and front fogs. I never use the rear one unless I have a legit reason like bad weather or fog.
Auto mode will never activate fog lights.
To the original poster - please read your manual!!!!

When I have my car in the parking light setting, the city lights come on, but the minutes I switch on the engine, the headlights come on as well. Im in Canada..and we have DRL's...not sure if that makes a difference.
