In my days as a lurker, I remember reading a thread started by apricotscrub (the guy who this thread started about)...and I found out his business went downhill, he had to sell his S-class, and he now drives some rusty old Jeep from the 80's.

No matter what anyone says, one fact will always remain: Lexus was created for the sole reason of competing with German cars. Anyone who does a little homework will quickly discover this fact and it cannot be disputed.
Lexus would not exist if it wasn't for Mercedes.
