I wish could help, but I didn't get both specific modules for my car since I don't use my steering buttons much. My shop told me about the modules, but can't remember them now.

Most good shops should know...OR try Crutchfield.com/EBAY maybe. I just checked Crutchfield for you and it shows only 1 module:

http://signature.crutchfield.com/S-R...-IVA-W505.html

You should email/call them to double check since I also remember 2 modules were needed if I wanted to have my steering volume buttons working.

I'd stay away from purple HIDs! It's not for MB and less visibility for sure.

My opinion that purple HID is not for MB is just my personal taste and most would agree, but again, you will have alot less visibility at night with them.

However, it's your car and you can do anything to it as long you like it

i don't like the sound quality from my car
it sounds very dull and i have messed around with the treble and bass and all that , also 4 people and two audio specialists have tried it aswell and no one can get it to sound good so im going to get a better alpine and replace the sound system because i ran out of options for trying to make it sound good

yes stay away from purple hids. Purple hids have significantly less lumens then the stock 4300k. Basically your not going to be able to see crap. Its recommended you don't go above 6000k.

the kelvin color rating system is just to specific the color of light. It doesn't measure the amount of light being outputted.

You receive the most amount of lumens at 4300k. Thats why oem's use 4300k. When you go higher then 4300k, you start losing light.

4300k is a yellowish white. 5000k is more of a pure white. 6000k is more of a bluish white and 8000k is more of a pure blue.

Here's a kelvin chart.

You can try it, but you do lose a lot of light.

You would need to upgrade your sub/amp too then.

As for HID, most people go with 6000K as you don't lose much visibility, but still looks good (white bluish). If you want something bluer/cooler color, 8000K it is then, but you would lose more visibility.

I personally have 5000K for my headlights and foglights.
